Facial massage

Take 5 to 10 minutes

Facial massage is a simple and effective way to stimulate blood circulation, reduce swelling, and give your skin a natural glow. It also allows your skincare products to penetrate better.

Here is a guide to make it:

1. Start with clean hands and a cleansed face

Make sure your skin is clean and your hands are washed well to avoid transferring bacteria.

2. Apply a moisturizing oil or serum

Use a few drops of your favorite oil or serum to ease the massage and reduce friction. This also helps the product penetrate the skin better.

3. Use gentle, upward movements

Start at the jawline and work your way up to the cheeks and temples in gentle circular motions, using your fingertips or a jade roller/gua sha. This helps lift the skin and prevent sagging.

4. Gently massage the eye area

Use your ring finger to massage the eye area, making small circles under the eye. This helps reduce puffiness and dark circles.

5. Move to the front

Use both hands to massage the forehead in upward motions, from the top of the eyebrows to the hairline, to relax the muscles and reduce expression lines.

6. Finish with the jaw and neck

Use firm but gentle strokes from the center of your chin toward your ears. Also massage your neck using upward strokes to stimulate circulation and maintain skin firmness.

To be done for 5 to 10 minutes

Practice this massage daily or a few times a week, in your morning or evening routine, to relax and revitalize your skin.
